Been seeing a lot of blanket capes during the past year on runways and also on Pinterest style photos. Loved the idea and had the perfect old blanket to use for the project as well. This one is super easy if you can sew pretty straight and use sciccors. You can find really good instructions from this pin I added to my Pinterest. This can really be done in a few easy steps and takes just an hour or less to complete. My kinda DIY!

I love the pattern of this blanket and been wearing the cape loads since I made it. It also brings extra warmth to thinner jackets and can be used from autumn months all the way to spring.
